Level 1 Total Control Advanced Riding Clinic (ARC-1):
Cornering technique is the primary focus of the Level 1 Total Control® Advanced Riding Clinic (TCARC). During this one day course, individual skills addressed include throttle control, throttle/brake transitions, corner entry, line selection, body position and corner exit. There are slightly different versions of these techniques depending on the type of motorcycle ridden, but all follow the same fundamental principles
that are taught in the course. Dynamic classroom sections cover the mental aspects of the techniques with the majority of the time applying and practicing these unique techniques during the range exercises. The combination of class discussions and range exercises are utilized as building blocks to progressively introduce and create the desired skill throughout the day.
Skills Day-Level 1 (SDARC):
Skills Day for Level One TCARC is designed to practice and refine the unique cornering techniques learned in the Level One TCARC course. This one-day event utilizes the same range exercises from Level One TCARC so the students can practice the techniques on their own, under the supervision of highly trained
instructors. Proper execution of the techniques, guided self assessments and numerous repetitions throughout the day prepares the student to use these valuable techniques when riding on the street. Digital photography is utilized at most of our locations. We make the pictures from the day available on the internet for your later review so that a visual self assessment of the techniques can be made as a reflection on the days' learning.
Workshop-Level 1 (WSARC):
Level One TCARC Workshop is designed to practice and refine the unique cornering techniques learned from the Level One TCARC class with added course features of digital photography and video for student debriefing sessions. The smaller course setting ensures greater one-on-one coaching and digital technologies aids students with self assessment in order to improve their own individual learning of the proper techniques. This half day event utilizes the same range exercises from Level One TCARC so the
students can practice the techniques on their own, under the supervision of highly trained instructors. Proper execution of the techniques, individual coaching, guided self assessments and numerous repetitions throughout the workshop prepares the student to use these valuable techniques when riding on the street. In addition, an added value to the course is that all of your digital pictures and video of the day can be downloaded on a flash drive so each student can self assess their progress later on at home.
Level 2 Total Control Advanced Riding Clinic (ARC-2):
Level Two Total Control Advanced Riding Clinic advances the students learning based on the techniques and principles learned in TCARC Level One Clinic. The course includes more challenging exercises from the best-selling book "Total Control" by Lee Parks plus some exciting new ones. This clinic is designed to
provide additional knowledge that can take the students to the next level of their riding skills. Classroom and range exercises include riding psychology, speed shifting, trail braking into a turn, decreasing arc mid-corner, decreasing radius turns, chassis setup, quick stops and one-of-a-kind exercise called TC Solo. Participants MUST have completed Total Control® ARC Level 1 as a prerequisite.
Skills Day-Level 2 (SDARC):
Skills Day for Level Two TCARC is designed to practice and refine the unique techniques learned in the TCARC Level Two Clinic. This one day event utilizes the same range exercises from TCARC Level Two so the students can practice the techniques on their own, under the supervision of highly trained instructors.

Stayin’ Safe: Wisconsin Backroads (SSTT):
Stayin’ Safe is best known for its established on-street advanced skills tours that provide real world, on-road training. Our training programs offer riders of nearly every motorcycle type and experience level a fun and exciting opportunity to learn visual strategies and techniques for smoother cornering and safer riding on twisty, scenic roads. With a target ratio of three students for each instructor, we conduct our training primarily on picturesque roads, in rural settings and smallish towns with limited riding on divided highways and urban environments. Using one-way radio communication, instructors provide real time feedback and coaching, and will help improve your overall riding. At Total Rider Tech we like to say “here is one more tool for the riding toolbox, another option to help you the rider be a safer motorcyclist”. Those tools are attained in the introduction to the key Stayin' Safe techniques which you apply in real time/real-world situations. This approach enables riders to create new visual strategies for themselves and to sharpen cornering and braking skills en route. In addition to the real-time coaching, our instructors conduct “chalk talks”, at key points along our route, creating a virtual classroom along the roadside. This process allows for group discussion and reinforcement of the concepts learned while riding.
